The Stakeholder Group of Persons with Disabilities invite you to endorse the official submission paper prepared on behalf of the Stakeholder Group of Persons with Disabilities to the HLPF. The paper is titled "Eradicating Poverty and Promoting Prosperity for Persons with Disabilities".

We invite you to endorse this document by completing the endorsement form or by providing the name of your organization and your email address to Orsolya Bartha ( obartha@idasecretariat.org )

The submission paper addresses the annual theme of the High-Level Political Forum through the Sustainable Development Goals that are under review this year. As such, the paper focuses on eradicating poverty and promoting prosperity for persons with disabilities through the lens of Goals 1. 2, 3, 5, 9, and 14. The document addresses the situation and challenges encountered by persons with disabilities globally and provides recommendations in line with the CRPD. The introduction section (page 1 of the document) will be translated into six official UN languages. The remaining five pages will be part of the official documents, but will not be translated and only published in English.

Please note that the paper addresses the suggestions that were provided, but due to severe space limitations imposed by the UN, the paper is concise and synthesized.

FEDERAL GOVERNMENT HAS NOT REOPENED N-POWER PORTAL FOR NEW APPLICATIONS YET.

The N-Power volunteer network has denied a report circulating on social media that new N-power applications are now being received on the N-Power portal. It also denied reports and claims about an unauthorised request for vital personal information of beneficiaries such as BVN, Account Number, among others not known to the Presidency or any arm of the Federal Government. A Corper Dies Few Hours To His Completion Of Service In Sokoto

A corper by name Segun Daniel was reported dead a few hours to his passing out parade in Sokoto State, after complaining of headache. His friend, Solanke wrote; " I was about calling to congratulate you on the completion of your NYSC when I received the news of your demise.
